i prefer use ImagePut http://www.vidroid.com/imageput/ application, you can use for bulk sharing images to free(no registration) fast hosting like this one, includes: web album generator and image editor inside.

I did it - here’s some proof.

I’ve used Digikam for uploading to my own gallery before (it uses G2), but this is my first time with Flickr - thanks for the tip.

The spare monitors seems an even better idea. I’ve had no problems with the upgrade, and I’ve got several friends who’ve done the same. But if it’s her precious cash, I’d understand!
Yes, I’m using a USB foldable keyboard.

@ Anne - we’ve got some spare monitors kicking around here so I imagine she’d use the VGA out. A stack of books is a good idea too. Are you using a usb keyboard? I don’t think I saw any ps2 connectors on the side or back. Memory card is a great idea — thanks.

@ Rob — it looks like upgrading the RAM also voids the warranty… Maybe I’ll wait for the 9″ with 1GB ram. Oh right…I have to remember it’s for the kid, not me…
